As one of the most “casually authentic” wine experts in the industry, Mike Wreyford, AKA “Mike the Wine Guy,” has blazed his own trails and made it his life’s passion to educate, inform and entertain his audience with his extensive knowledge and passion for wine, and the lifestyle that goes with it.
His weekly radio program and podcast, “ISO the Good Life” has become a must-listen for travel conscious wine enthusiasts and curious foodies alike. With countless hours of Live Radio, and 1,000+ interviews, Mike’s show has earned a reputation for being informative, entertaining, and uniquely original.
In addition to his Podcast, YouTube Channel & Radio show, Mike is known for his involvement in charitable events & fundraisers, including the highly successful “World of Wine” tasting events which he has been instrumental in developing & hosting since 2011.
Mike has also commercially consulted for both wine-tech manufacturers & wine retailers including Vintec & Grocery Outlet.
Mike Barnes
Originally from the UK, Mike Barnes is a dual US & UK citizen who graduated from Exeter University and City St George's, University of London in Computer Science & Music Information Technology.
Mike has extensive international experience in Music Production, Film Sound-Design (Stargate), Music Tech, Product Management & Product Marketing across Silicon Valley, EMEA & APAC companies via Yamaha R&D London, Creative Labs, Dolby Labs, Skype , Facebook , Amazon Lab 126, Brain.ai & was VP Marketing at Universal Audio propelling UA from a boutique California Pro Audio startup to a global elite brand & DSP plug-in digital powerhouse.
Mike brings extensive domain expertise across marketing strategy, product launch, web & e-commerce, digital marketing, Generative AI, creative direction & video content skills to 5West.
Mike has immersed in advertising, music video & social media content for Clubs, Bars & DJ Events ( Mundo Maya Brewing, Leemba Beach Club, Nest Beer House & Nightclub, Martina Beach Club) bringing cutting-edge marketing solutions from Silicon Valley to the Beach Clubs of Tulum & the wine & hospitality industry in Napa Valley.
